What is Breadcrumb?
Breadcrumb is a computer flight recorder and context manager for your AI. It records everything you do on your Mac. It records what was on your screen, your meetings, your AI transcripts, what you and your AI tools decided, and it turns that record into memory your AI can use. All recordings are local and encrypted.
It also allows you to create rules, rule routing, rules modules, and shortcuts and generally steer your AI in a way that sticks just by talking to it. It plugs directly into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or opencode.
This page lists every tool Breadcrumb exposes over MCP, what each one does, and the kind of answer it gives.

Same call with a memory id gives the memory's whole card: title, text, why, filters, filing. On a moment captured since line boxes arrived, the words open with the legend "boxes: [top, left, wide, tall] in % of the window", then each line as "[12,8,60,2] Paul Graham @paulg". Older moments print their words as before.
