Breadcrumb

We are in open beta

We're a small team, one person right now. These are very early days for Breadcrumb, so there's a good chance that our products will have rough edges. And basically what this means is that you're using this product at your own risk. We recommend that you keep your own backups. Your data can be found in ~/Library/Application Support/Breadcrumb.

Legally speaking the software comes as it is without any kind of warranty. Since the software is free we do not offer any kind of refund. We welcome bug reports in our Discord and feature suggestions as well. We hate to say this but legally we have to: if something goes wrong the most we can owe you is nothing.

What it records is up to you

By design Breadcrumb records everything that crosses your screen, and it also transcribes meetings, and then shows relevant information to your AI when it asks. Breadcrumb itself doesn't make any judgments about what to show other than all the results relevant according to simple search heuristics.

Please note you have complete control over what gets captured. Breadcrumb offers a deep setting system that allows you to block any app or website. Additionally you can block any screens that contain keywords or phrases of your choice. Private browsing windows are never recorded. These settings are completely under your control and there's no way for us to know what your settings are. Please be sure to follow any rules that your employer has in these regards.

Meetings

When Breadcrumb transcribes a meeting you agree to tell the people on that meeting that it's being transcribed and to get their OK. Actually this is the law in many places and also it's a pretty nice thing to do.

Your history is yours

Everything Breadcrumb stores belongs to you. We have no copy, no access, and no claim on it. Delete the app and the folder and it's gone, which is exactly how it should be.

Founding seats

When the founding seats open, backing Breadcrumb once buys everything the seat page lists on the day you buy, for good. If we change what a seat includes later, existing seats keep what they had. Refund terms will be on the seat page before anyone pays a penny.

This website

What we collect on it, which is nearly nothing, is on the privacy page.

Lightspeed

Open source, under its own licence in its own repository. That licence is the agreement there, not this page.

Lightwave

Private beta. It gets its own terms when it opens up.

Who we are

Innerloop is a registered business name of JV Multimedia, Inc., a California corporation. California law applies to this agreement. If you ever need to reach a person, it's justin@innerloop.works.

Changes

We'll update this page as the products grow, and if a change matters we'll say so in Discord so nobody is surprised.
